As we embark on this leadership path, it is important that we – in representing ASHHRA’s HR
Leadership Initiative – share a common voice iand vision. To advance this effort, all
communications for and about “The New Role of HR Leadership in Healthcare” should
strive to be:
Consistent in content, style and tone.
Clear in articulating the purpose, intention and hopes for our HR Leadership Initiative.
Focused on the needs, wants and wishes of our membership and stakeholders.
Flexible so that the message orientation can shift when directed toward specific audiences.
For focus and flexibility in presentation, shift more or less to the approach that will resonate and be most persuasive with your specific, identified audience.
For example, when addressing
HR PROFESSIONALS: Speak to their passion for and dedication to the mission of healthcare.
C-LEVEL EXECUTIVES: Speak to their concern for HR alignment with the strategic
needs of their organizations and bottom-line success.
BOTH GROUPS: Integrate the “people” side of HR to the “business” side of delivering healthcare services.
STAKEHOLDERS AND COLLABORATORS: Recognize and utilize the unique vantage point they have for seeing and understanding the needs and inter-relationships of both groups.
This Outreach Tool Kit has been developed for both internal and external stakeholders who might use it many different ways.
To confirm that ASHHRA’s HR Leader brand is applied properly and is reproduced to the
